“Most pieces here blur between landscape and still-life, sometimes including a “portrait” of an aspect of human form as well. I love what’s underneath paintings. You can really see the record of an artist’s movement in the skeleton and foundation. I’ve been exploring this by finishing some paintings with pastel or charcoal.”
